Fly-Out to Chehalis October 7, 2021

What a neat fly-out we had today! There were enough clouds on the way down from Sequim (and over from Norman Grier for Tim) to Chehalis to make the trip interesting and pretty but not an obstacle to getting there. Heading home kept some clouds in the picture but again a fine VFR day. I was surprised to see all the small lakes and rivers down there. I think most of my flying in that area had more clouds, less viz, and not so much time to just enjoy the scenery. This particular fly-out has enough distance to make the trip an adventure but not so long as to make it boring. Even in a Cub! Thanks for coming today. I was really pleased to see all of you, and I think the restaurant was, too!
