July 13th Young Eagle Event at Port Angeles

Chapter 430’s second Young Eagle Event of the year was held Saturday, July 13th at Fairchild Airport, Port Angeles. Our 6 pilots flew 40 kids. Many thanks to our Chapter pilots, Ray Ballantyne, Bud Davies, Gordon Tubesing, and Steve Emley. Two pilots from other chapters showed up to help out, too—Thanks to Mark Norman Chapter 84 and Simon Briant. Sixteen volunteers handled processing the kids through the system, and making sure they were safe on the ramp.
