How EAA Chapter 430 handles information on this website.

Effective October 2026

EAA Chapter 430 is a volunteer, nonprofit chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association. This website shares news, events, and information about the chapter. Your privacy matters to us, and we keep things simple.

Our basic promises

• We don’t ask for personal information unless we truly need it.
• We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone except to comply with the law or protect our rights.
• We don’t keep personal information unless we need it to run a chapter activity.

What this website does not do

There are no user accounts, logins, or comments on this site. We don’t show ads, and we don’t use advertising networks or tracking cookies.

Visitor counting

This site may use GoatCounter, a cookie-free visitor counter, to see how many people visit each page. It stores no personal data.

Like nearly all websites, our web host may briefly record basic technical details, such as the type of browser used and the time of a visit, to keep the site running and secure.

When you contact us or join

If you email us, fill out a membership application, or apply for a scholarship, you give us information such as your name, email address, and phone number. We use it only for that purpose and for chapter business. Only the chapter volunteers who need it will see it.

Payments

Dues and donations made online are handled by PayPal (including Venmo). We never see or store your card number. PayPal’s own privacy policy covers the information you give them.

Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, such as EAA, the FAA, and local airports. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Photos

We sometimes post photos from chapter events. If you would like a photo of you or your child removed, just ask and we will take it down.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
