Where We Are
EAA Chapter 430 is based on the northern Olympic Peninsula, Washington.
We serve Port Angeles, Sequim, and the rest of Clallam County, plus surrounding areas. Our monthly gathering moves with the seasons: Sequim Valley in summer and Fairchild (KCLM) in Port Angeles in winter.
Winter: William R. Fairchild International Airport (KCLM), Port Angeles Terminal conference room 1402 Fairchild Airport Rd, Port Angeles, WA 98363 Map
Summer: Sequim Valley Airport (W28), Sequim Hangar #15, in the long hangar building (confirmed on the current Contact Us page) 468 Dorothy Hunt Lane, Sequim, WA 98382 (verified: airport website and AirNav) Map
Look for the EAA signs in the parking lot. Whether you fly or drive in, please park about 20 feet into the grassy area so airplanes can taxi past the hangars.
Flying in? You’re welcome! Below is a plain-English summary of the FAA Chart Supplement, Northwest edition, effective 3 Sep 2026 to 29 Oct 2026 (KCLM page, W28 page, current FAA Chart Supplement). Neither airport has a control tower.
The Chart Supplement doesn’t list pattern altitudes or transient parking for either airport, so we don’t list them here. At W28, follow the parking note above when you come to a gathering.
Not for navigation. This is a summary for planning only, and the edition changes every 56 days. Check the current Chart Supplement and NOTAMs, and get an official briefing before you fly.
VMC/IMC Club Our pilot proficiency club meets at Hometown Cafe (formerly Mariner Cafe) in Sequim, on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Hometown Cafe, 609 W Washington St, Suite 1, Sequim, WA 98382 (verified: Sequim Chamber and Sequim Gazette listings)
The Events page always has the current date and place for every meeting.
