Who We Are
EAA Chapter 430: your local airplane people.
EAA Chapter 430 is a volunteer group of pilots, builders, and aviation fans on the northern Olympic Peninsula, about 50 miles northwest of Seattle. We’re one of the local chapters of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and our motto is simple: we’re dedicated to having fun with aircraft.
You don’t need to own a plane, build a plane, or even be a pilot to belong. Our members include longtime aircraft builders, weekend flyers, student pilots, and people who just love being around airplanes. If you’re curious, you’ll fit right in.
What brings us together
- Monthly gatherings with good company, coffee, food, and a guest speaker or program
- Sharing what members are building, fixing, and flying
- Flyouts to other airports (28 of our members flew to Olympic Field in June 2026)
- Giving young people their first flight and helping them pay for training
Who runs the chapter The chapter is run by volunteers. Our officers and directors are listed on the Board of Directors page.
