Aviation Art at EAA 430

John Meyer assembled a group of EAA430 aviators who not only love aviation, but they also love to make art. He led us through amazingly diverse selections of artwork.

John reached back to his early days and showed paintings and posters from his early years all the way to the 3D aircraft panels he is creating today. He also showed the Halsted Hangar mural that was painted by Mellisa Klein.

Collette Miller (shown here) described her various portraits and the group painting of fliers of Diamond Point.

Joan Miller described her special quilt making process and techniques while demonstrating her beautiful quilts.

Tom Roorda displayed some of his airborne photographs that he has taken for the past 60 years of flying.
