Another Score for an EAA 430 Member

Friends, Thought you would like to know that Deanna, my Wife and fellow EAA 430 member, got across the finish line last night here at Felts Field aner a grueling race from Fairhope, AL. She masterfully flew the only taildragger in the entire all-woman race of 50 crews across the US! It was very grueling, Deanna completed it in 2 days out of the allocated time of 4 days!! While sick! And if sick wasn’t enough, the turbulence, heat and bad weather at the start of hurricane season flying across the states was hell for her. I am so very proud of our little EAA 430 member, my Wife, crushed it! Wondering if she is the first ever from our chapter to compete in this historic, prestigious race? Join me in congratulating her, I am so, so very proud!!
